Production Editor - Journals

Job Description:

• Minimum of 2 6 years of experience as a Production Editor in e-publishing
• Should have strong knowledge in typesetting terminologies, proof markings, quality concepts, typography, and typesetting standards.
• Format and typeset manuscripts using industry-standard software and tools, ensuring proper layout, formatting, and readability.
• Must be proficient in Adobe Acrobat and MS Office
• Should have good communication and analytical skills
• Checking the style and layout of the proofs against the sample and cross-checking the
  corrections
• Should be capable of checking samples against the specification, PDF sample, hardcopy, etc.
• Should be good at deconstructing mathematical equations.
