Team Lead Account Manager

Role & responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide financial insights and reports to support decision-making processes.
• Prepare, implement, and monitor Cash Flow Planning and budget forecasts.
• Identify variances between actual and budgeted cash Flows on a weekly basis.
• Oversee accounts payable functions to ensure timely payments.
• Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of accounts.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, including the preparation and submission of tax returns (e.g., GST,  TDS, Income Tax).
• Coordinate with tax consultants and auditors during tax assessments and audits
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for periodic audits and ensure compliance with audit recommendations.
• Monitor and manage daily cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
• Supervise and guide junior finance team members.
• Provide training and mentorship to improve team efficiency and skills.
• Delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth financial operations.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in financial software such as Tally ERP.
• Advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration.
• Leadership skills to manage and motivate a finance team.
