Account Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to oversee our organizations compliance efforts. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of GST reporting, planning, and strategy, ensuring timely and accurate filing of returns while optimizing our tax position. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide guidance on GST-related matters, and stay informed about regulatory changes to mitigate risks and enhance financial efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Core Accounting Functions:

Handling daily accounting vouchers.

Monthly scrutiny of trial balances.

Reconciliation of bank statements, creditors, and debtors.

Adjustment and clearance of entries.

Invoicing and Payments:

Timely processing of payments to suppliers, contractors, and employee claims.

Accounts payable and receivable management.

Banking and Compliance

Liaising with banks for foreign remittance processes.

Coordinating the issuance of bank guarantees and letters of credit.

Engaging with bank relationship managers for the renewal of working capital limits.

Data preparation for stock audits/ unit inspections by the banker.

Financial Statements and Audits:

Collaborating with chartered accountants for the preparation of projection/CMA data and related documents for annual working capital renewal.

Coordinating statutory and tax audits and assisting in the preparation of profit and loss accounts and finalization of the balance sheet.

Financial Reporting and Taxation

Monthly Reporting:

Submission of monthly stock statements for cash credit limits

Coordination and documentation for month-end reporting.

Tax Compliance:

Management of GST and TDS/ TCS obligations.

Oversight of E-invoices and E-way bills.

Strategic Financial Planning

Monitoring bank limits and working capital requirements.

Strategic planning for financial stability and growth.

Payroll Processing

Payroll reconciliation on a monthly basis.

Trade Banking

Administration of trade banking operations, including bank guarantees and letters of credit.

Accounting managers stay updated on accounting regulations and standards, such as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). They ensure compliance with these standards and coordinate external audits if required.

Manage, inspect and inspect the company's assets, such as inventory and assets, to ensure the consistency of accounts and facts. Organize regular inventory and asset count as required by the group.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CA or CA intermediate preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software Ex. Tally and MS Excel.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• 5+ years experience as a certified public accountant
• 10+ years’ experience in an accounting leadership role
• Exceptional leadership abilities
• Strong budgeting, financial forecasting and financial analysis skills required
