• Job Summary:

The Retention Specialist will focus on maintaining and enhancing client relationships within our Commercial Lines. This role is pivotal in identifying at-risk accounts, developing retention strategies, and ensuring clients receive the highest level of service and support.

Roles & Responsibility

Client Servicing and Retention:

• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients through periodic, targeted communications.
  
• Ensure structured interactions with insurance managers to address client needs.
  

Procurement and Analysis:

• Manage procurement of quotes from insurers, including preparation of RFQs (Request for Quotes) and quote comparison.
  
• Apply strong analytical skills to understand losses and claims, providing meaningful insights for clients.
  

Insurance Expertise:

• Demonstrate expert-level knowledge of Property, Projects, and Marine Insurance.
  
• Evaluate and create value-added services tailored to client needs, leveraging deep domain expertise.
  

Risk Management:

• Apply knowledge of risk management, particularly in Property Loss Control and Marine Loss Control.
  

Service Delivery Monitoring:

• Continuously monitor routine services such as endorsements, claims servicing, and policy servicing.
  
• Conduct regular review meetings with clients to ensure satisfaction and address concerns.
  

Reporting and Coordination:

• Prepare detailed claims analysis reports and presentations for client interactions.
  
• Coordinate effectively with internal teams, including operations, claims, and sales.
  

Market and Regulatory Updates:

• Stay informed of and communicate market trends and regulatory updates to clients, ensuring compliance and proactive service.

• Desired Profile/ Who should join:

• Experience: 2 to 7 years of experience in a general insurance company, insurance brokerage, or as a surveyor.
  
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
  
• Client Engagement: Strong client engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  
• Project Management: Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  
• Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across teams.
  
• Organizational Skills: Organized and methodical in approach to tasks, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  
• Continuous Learning: Strong aptitude for continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends.
  
• Negotiation Skills: Effective negotiation skills to achieve favorable outcomes for clients and the company.
