Job Description

As a Senior Associate-Investments in our Family Office, you will play a critical role in the evaluation, analysis, and execution of investment opportunities across various asset classes. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth financial analysis, market research, and due diligence to support the family office's strategic objectives. You will also assist in managing and optimizing the portfolio, as well as coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful deal execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Investment Analysis & Research:

- Conduct comprehensive research on market trends, industries, and investment opportunities.

- Evaluate potential investments in private equity, real estate, venture capital, public markets, and other asset classes.

- Prepare financial models, valuation reports, and investment presentations to support decision-making.

Financial Modeling:

- Build and maintain detailed financial models to assess the viability and profitability of investment opportunities.

- Analyze financial statements and create projections to evaluate potential returns, risks, and sensitivity analysis.

- Support the team in preparing financial models for different types of investments, including equity, debt, and hybrid structures.

Due Diligence:

- Lead due diligence efforts for investment opportunities, collaborating with legal, financial, and operational teams.

- Assess the financial health, business models, and growth prospects of target companies and investment vehicles.

Portfolio Management:

- Support in managing and optimizing the family office's investment portfolio.

- Track the performance of portfolio companies, including financial performance, key metrics, and operational milestones.

- Provide regular reports on portfolio performance to the senior management.

Deal Execution:

- Assist in structuring and negotiating investment deals, including drafting term sheets, investment agreements, and other related documentation.

- Collaborate with legal, tax, and compliance teams to ensure smooth execution of transactions.

- Collaborate with legal and financial advisors to execute transaction documents and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Strategic Advisory:

- Provide insights and recommendations on potential investment strategies, based on thorough analysis and market knowledge.

- Assist in the development and implementation of the family office's long-term investment strategy.

Stakeholder Communication:

- Work closely with senior management, internal teams, and external advisors to facilitate the investment process.

- Prepare investment updates, presentations, and reports for stakeholders, including family members and key executives.

Key Requirements:

Education:

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

- CFA, MBA, or relevant financial certifications will be a plus.

Experience:

- 6+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, family office, or related fields.

- Proven track record in evaluating and executing investment opportunities across different asset classes.

- Experience in managing or working with high-net-worth clients or family offices is preferred.

Skills:

- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.

- In-depth understanding of investment structures, portfolio management, and risk assessment.

- Proficiency in financial software and tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, etc.).

- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

- Strong attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.

- Ability to think strategically and provide actionable insights.

- High level of integrity and discretion, particularly when dealing with confidential information.
