General Manager - Stone Quarry - Bhopal MP

Candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the quarry operation, ensuring efficient extraction of stone while maintaining high safety standards, environmental compliance, and optimal production levels, by managing staff, planning extraction strategies, coordinating with engineers and geologists, and adhering to relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

• Direct daily quarry operations, including drilling, blasting, loading, and hauling activities.
• Monitor production levels and adjust processes to optimize efficiency and output.
• Implement and oversee quarry development plans, including mine design and progressive extraction strategies.
• Manage and maintain quarry equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and timely repairs.

Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and regulations within the quarry.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
• Implement safety training programs for all quarry personnel.
• Monitor compliance with environmental regulations related to air, water, and land use.

Staff Management:

• Lead and supervise a team of quarry workers, including operators, mechanics, and supervisors.
• Recruit, hire, and train new employees.
• Performance management and development of quarry staff.

Financial Management:

• Develop and manage the quarry budget, including operational costs and capital expenditures.
• Monitor financial performance and identify areas for cost optimization.

External Relations:

• Collaborate with engineers, geologists, and regulatory agencies to ensure proper planning and compliance.
• Manage relationships with customers, including contract negotiations and delivery schedules.
• Address community concerns regarding quarry operations.
