JOB DESCRIPTION: Claims co-ordinator Health Claims
Job Purpose:
1. Responsible for co-ordination between health sales and health claims team
2. The candidate will be required to have previous experience in managing health claims
process with objective of facilitating faster claims settlement and managing business
relations with key business partners.
3. She/he will also be required to liaise with corporate partners/brokers in their region in order
to see the smooth functioning of claims processing
4. Liaise with sales team members / key corporate customer HR / brokers on a daily/periodical
basis
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
1. Be an interface between the Digit sales and Digit inhouse or TPA claims / customer service
team
2. Ensuring closure of escalated claims in a timely manner
3. Responsible for overall activities related to claims communication to key business partners
engaged with Digit on health claims business
4. Ensure adequate measures are in place to identify potential health business and to support
business teams in conversion of those businesses
Profile requirements:
1. Experience of handling claims processes in an insurance company or reputed TPA (MediAssist
/ Paramount / Raksha / MD India / FHPL) 2. Health care market intelligence
3. Excellent oral and written communication 4. Excellent Negotiation Skills
5. Highly results oriented and driven to succeed
6. Highly ethical and value driven
7. Proactive, agile and highly responsive towards achieving goals
