Responsible for handling First/second level support and service requests. The role is responsibility for network analysis and design, technology support, and user support. The resource will be required to provide top level support for any network issues ranging from implementation of new networks, troubleshooting outages for local and remote networks. Design, implement and support of the corporate network infrastructure. Key member of the team is responsible for designing and developing scalable and highly available global network architectures to meet the firms business needs.
Participate in the design, setup and configuration of complex L2/L3 switch/Firewall. Maintain, create and update all network documentation and topology diagrams.
Responsible for managing, monitoring and maintaining a L3 private IP MPLS carrier network via BGP peering as well as a sophisticated private BGP WAN topology. Full ownership of all WAN CE routers, configurations, QoS policies and ensuring stability of the network 24/7.
Support manage and maintain all ISP Internet connectivity for the firm from multiple carriers with multiple links in multiple locations.
Support, manage and maintain network monitoring system for the firms network. This includes network performance monitoring for WAN/LAN links, network nodes, alerting and response, network configuration management and compliance and IP address management.
Support of the firms wireless infrastructure made up of all Cisco Meraki APs
On a rotating basis, provide after-hour coverage to respond to network-related issues occurring either before or after support hours.
When requested, attends IT meetings and scheduled teleconferences.
Configure and support multiple locations consisting of a Cisco Meraki Firewall/WAN/ LAN (L2/L3), VMX, WAF, ASA firewalls, Palo Alto firewalls, Fortinet and other miscellaneous network appliances.
Candidate must have worked on the latest technologies (Cloud, ACI, SDN and SDWAN)

Job Description:
3-5 years experience with Cisco Meraki Firewall and switches. Proven hands-on network engineering experience.
Install, configure, and maintain network equipment, including switches, routers, firewalls, and virtual private networks (VPNs).
Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, both proactively and reactively.
Monitor network performance and analyze network traffic, utilizing network monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
Participate in an on-call rotation for critical network incidents and issues outside of business hours.
Experience in Protocols such as EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, HSRP, IPSEC, VPN, NAT, 802.1Q, 802.11, LACP, Spanning-tree, UDLD, BPDU, HTTP, HTTPS, DHCP, DNS.
Must possess a thorough understanding of Network Infrastructure and security topology.
Experience configuring and supporting Cisco ASA firewalls. VPN, IPS/IDS and Palo Alto is a plus
Understanding of LAN, Wi-Fi, WAN terminology, IP Subnetting, IP packet flow & DHCP packet flow.
Experience designing and building web environments on AWS, which includes working with services like EC2, ELB, RDS, and S3
Cisco certifications in Routing, switching or cloud certification in AWS or Azure is plus
