Network Engineer L2/L3

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide remote troubleshooting and support for network-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.

• Troubleshoot complex network issues related to routing protocols (OSPF), QoS policies, DHCP configuration, DNS resolution, and IP addressing.

• Manage and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking hardware.

• Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement effective solutions.

• Assist with VPN setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  
• Develop documentation for network configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices.

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in networking.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3-5 years of experience in IT Network Engineering or a related field.
  
• Strong understanding of network protocols, configurations, and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)

• Familiarity with firewall and VPN technologies (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, or similar).

• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.

• Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
