Role & responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive site auditing and proactively identify on-page and technical SEO opportunities.
Document recommended solutions and work with development team to advise on implementation
Manage and review link structuring, canonicalization, schema markup, cannibalization and core-vital elements
Monitor crawl/indexation and uncover and troubleshoot any issues that arise
Develop optimization strategies that increase the company's search engine results rankings
Experience with SEO industry programs, such as Google Analytics
Research SEO keywords to use throughout the company's website and marketing materials
Set measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in marketing efforts
Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance
Backlink building techniques
Efficiently communicate with other marketing professionals to align goals
Collaborate with others within the Product/Marketing department to manage SEO strategy
Update content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine rankings
Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
Knowledge of keyword research and keyword tracking tools
Familiar with tools such as Google keyword planner, Webmaster, Google Analytics, etc.
Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data on a daily basis
Able to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the industry
Technical SEO experience (Website architecture, 301 redirects, Robots.txt best practices, Sitemaps, etc)
Knowledge of HTML semantics and image optimisation techniques
Understanding of DOM and Server Side/Browser (Client) Rendering
HTML, CSS, JS knowledge
Experience with Core-vitals
Experience with Rich Text, Schema JSON, XML, Open Graph Tags
Strong experience with Google Tag Manager, Analytics, and Search Console, such as setting up event tracking, filters, and segmenting data
Understanding of Web Crawlers, Social Engine Bots, etc
Good Writing & Speaking skills
Understanding of Mobile Responsive Design Practices, Breakpoints
Ability to analyse & adopt local and international trends for building general & localised SEO strategies for the company.
