SAP FICO Consultant - AP/AR Modules (7-12 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

SAP FICO Configuration and Implementation :

- Design, configure, and implement SAP FICO modules based on business needs.

- Customize SAP solutions to meet client-specific requirements, including General Ledger (GL),

Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO).

- Perform gap analysis and propose appropriate system configurations.

Business Process Analysis :

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze financial and operational requirements.

- Provide recommendations for process improvements using SAP FICO functionalities.

Integration :

- Ensure seamless integration of FICO with other SAP modules such as MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), and PP (Production Planning).

- Work with technical teams to design and implement data interfaces and enhancements.

Support and Troubleshooting :

- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for SAP FICO users.

- Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes or enhancements.

- Assist in system upgrades, patches, and migrations.

Training and Documentation :

- Develop and deliver user training for SAP FICO modules.

- Prepare and maintain documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, and user manuals.

Compliance and Reporting :

- Ensure financial processes align with regulatory and compliance requirements.

- Support the preparation of financial and management reports using SAP.

Qualifications :

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field.

- Experience :Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO implementation and support.

- Experience in at least one full-cycle SAP implementation.

Technical Skills :

- Proficient in SAP FI sub-modules (GL, AP, AR, AA) and CO sub-modules (Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis).

- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance is a plus.

- Basic ABAP debugging knowledge is advantageous.

- Understanding of integration points with other SAP modules.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP FICO certification.

- Hybrid/On-site/Remote, depending on project needs.

- May require occasional travel for project implementation or training.
