SAP FICO Consultant - AP/AR/GL Modules (8-10 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Configure and customize SAP FICO modules (Financial Accounting and Controlling) to meet business requirements for a sales affiliate company code.

- Implement and configure General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).

- Define and maintain chart of accounts, company codes, controlling areas, and other organizational units.

- Configure tax procedures, payment terms, and other financial settings.

- Configure intercompany transactions and reconciliation processes.

-Analyze and document business requirements related to finance processes.

- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical designs.

- Design and implement solutions to optimize financial processes.

- Conduct workshops and gather requirements from stakeholders.

- Participate in full lifecycle SAP implementations, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and go-live.

- Develop and execute test plans and test cases.

- Provide end-user training and support.

- Ensure smooth transition during go-live and post-go-live support.

- Configure and test integrations between SAP FICO and other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM) and external systems.

- Participate in data migration activities, including data cleansing, mapping, and loading.

- Work with the technical team to insure smooth data migration.

Production Support & Troubleshooting :

- Provide ongoing production support for SAP FICO modules.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex financial issues.

- Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.

- Create and maintain detailed technical and functional documentation.

- Develop and generate financial reports using SAP reporting tools.

- Create and maintain process flow diagrams.

- Effectively manage time and tasks in a hybrid work environment.

- Collaborate with team members remotely and on-site.

- Participate in virtual meetings and communication.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 8+ years of experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.

- Strong hands-on experience in configuring SAP FICO modules.

- Deep understanding of financial accounting and controlling processes.

- Experience in setting up a new company code within SAP.

- Experience with integration between SAP FICO and other SAP modules.

- Knowledge of data migration tools and techniques.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.

- Experience with testing tools.
