DigiHelic Solutions - SAP Native HANA Developer (3-5 yrs)

Job Description :

- Extensive experience with HANA modelling (V1.Business analysis capabilities (ability to interact directly with business user to establish requirements for modelling).

- Domain expertise - a very strong generalist would be preferred, and if specialized, then expertise in Finance (especially management and corporate reporting).

- Technical HANA expertise (security, BASIS, administration).

- Provide HANA modelling and architect services including but not limited to :

1. Develop reusable HANA models in accordance with consolidated design principles and documented design detail including an attempted definition and identification of all tables, fields, joins, filters, formulas/logic/calculations and any other business and data requirements.

2. HANA data models with consumption of Hierarchies, Calculated Columns.

3. SAP HANA modelling and scripting experience including ability to write complex stored procedures, Table Functions and HANA views using SQL.

- Administer data models in SAP HANA, including setting of information validation rules, managing schemas, the importing/exporting and transporting of data models.

- Apply advanced data modelling techniques, including currency conversion, variables and input parameters.

- Implement decision automation using business rules.

- Monitor, investigate and optimize data models and reporting performance on SAP HANA.

- Evaluate the impact of different implementation options such as table joins, aggregation, or filters.

- Understand the implication on performance of the various reporting tools and connection types.

- Assist in the elicitation and documentation of requirements on occasion where it is beneficial to the project and/or deliverable.

- Identify new and/or updated cross reference table architecture, modification, and integration into the reusable HANA models to capture and manage consolidated master data.

- Support project-related ETL and reporting deliverables working with the extended project team.

- Provide guidance on best-practices and architecture standards where these have not yet been put in place by the company.

- Provide input and feedback on overall solution architecture for consolidated reporting solutions, from source through ETL and modelling to data access and reporting.

- Provide functional input and expertise where applicable.

- Measurement of HANA database performance and tuning.

- Can perform analysis and provides recommendations on problems.

- Informs, advises and supports the stakeholders on processes, guidelines, best practices.
