SAP CPM Consultant - Implementation & Enhancement (5-7 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP CPM Consultant/Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be a key driver in the successful implementation, optimization, and support of SAP Corporate Performance Management (CPM) solutions. You will leverage your deep technical expertise and business process knowledge to deliver impactful solutions that meet our clients' strategic objectives. You will be responsible for leading project planning, scoping, and execution, driving business process re-engineering, and ensuring customer requirements are met.

Responsibilities :

1. Project Management & Execution :

- Lead and manage SAP CPM implementation and enhancement projects from initiation to completion.

- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.

- Define project scope, deliverables, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.

- Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and end-users, to ensure seamless project execution.

- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide timely updates to stakeholders.

2. SAP CPM Technical Expertise :

- Demonstrate advanced technical knowledge of SAP CPM modules, including but not limited to SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC), SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning, and related areas.

- Configure and customize SAP CPM solutions to meet specific business requirements.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including functional specifications, technical designs, and test plans.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP CPM systems.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP CPM technologies and best practices.

- Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.

- Develop and execute complex reports and dashboards using SAP CPM tools.

3. Business Process Re-engineering & Optimization :

- Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement.

- Drive business process re-engineering initiatives to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

- Design and implement optimized business processes using SAP CPM functionalities.

- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and validate solutions.

- Develop and deliver training materials and provide end-user support.

- Lead change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.

4. Customer Requirements & Solution Design :

- Conduct thorough requirements gathering sessions with clients to understand their business needs and objectives.

- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

- Map customer requirements to SAP CPM capabilities and recommend appropriate solutions.

- Develop and present solution proposals to clients.

- Ensure that solutions are aligned with industry best practices and client's strategic goals.

- Provide expert guidance and support to clients throughout the implementation process.

5. Project Forecasting & Automation :

- Develop and implement automated project forecasting solutions based on real-time data and historical trends.

- Design and configure SAP CPM systems to capture and analyze project-related data.

- Create reports and dashboards to visualize project performance and forecast future outcomes.

- Utilize data analytics and predictive modeling techniques to improve forecasting accuracy.

- Provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders based on project forecasting results.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Deep understanding of SAP CPM modules and related technologies.

- Proven experience in project management, including planning, scoping, and execution.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience in business process re-engineering and change management.

- Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis concepts.

- Experience with SAP integration technologies (e.g., SAP PI/PO, SAP Cloud Platform Integration).

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.

- SAP CPM certification is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Master's degree in a related field.

- Experience in specific industries (e.g., manufacturing, finance, retail).

- Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts.
