Senior Software Quality Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team and specialize in testing ATM systems, playing a key role in quality assurance processes, testing strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.

4-6 years of experience in the QA/Software Testing domain.
Bachelor s degree in information technology or related field OR a Master s degree in relevant field.
Adept experience of working in Agile & SDLC environment.
A thorough understanding of development and testing methodologies
Industry knowledge of Requirements Based Testing and Test-Driven Development
Hands on experience with defect and test management tools like JIRA/XRAY.
Proficient in designing high-quality test cases that are clear and comprehensive.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work under pressure and multiple projects.
Extensive experience in quality assurance, preferably with ATM systems or banking applications.
Experience on any UI automation tool is preferable.
Certifications in ISTQB Advanced level or equivalent.
Experience with hardware devices (XFS CENS understand, nice to have)
Mechanical Mindset with respect to how gears and sensors work.
Ability to lead and manage individual team projects.

Collaborate with product managers, developer, stakeholders to understand requirements and prioritize testing efforts aligned with project goals.
Develop, review and refine comprehensive test plans, test cases and scripts for ATM systems, covering functional, integration, regression, performance and security aspects.
Ensures that company certification standards, concepts, practices, and procedures are followed
Actively participates in the decision-making process regarding test coverage for system under test
Prepare test environment setup for assigned scope with minimal guidance.
Execute the manual and automated testing.
Identify, log and prioritize defects using JIRA.
Ensures timely delivery and quality of the deliverables for the assigned work.
Collaborate with development teams to analyze and resolve Complex issues effectively.
Work within set deadlines and deliver high quality, well tested code using prescribed specifications
Conduct root cause analysis and assist in implementation solutions to prevent recurring issues.
Prepare daily test report and share insights with manager.
