Job Description
- Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems, including ECC , S/4HANA , and related components.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and migrations (OS/DB, ECC to S/4HANA, etc.).
- Ensure system availability, reliability, and performance through proactive monitoring and tuning.
- Implement and manage SAP security protocols, including user roles, authorizations, and compliance standards.
- Perform periodic security audits and ensure adherence to organizational policies.
- Manage SAP-supported databases (e.g., HANA, Oracle, SQL Server).
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot related issues.
- Develop and manage backup strategies for SAP systems to ensure data integrity.
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery plans for critical SAP environments.
- Work closely with functional and technical teams to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, upgrades, and procedures.
- Lead SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
- Plan and execute SAP version upgrades and ensure compatibility with existing systems.
- Proven experience in SAP Basis administration with expertise in both ECC and S/4HANA .
- Strong understanding of HANA database architecture and optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in SAP system installation, configuration, and upgrades (including greenfield and brownfield projects).
- Knowledge of SAP Transport Management System (TMS), System Landscape Directory (SLD), and Solution Manager.
- Experience with SAP performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and SAP on cloud migrations.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools for SAP environments.
- Understanding of SAP Fiori, Gateway, and UI5 configurations.
- Experience in SAP security and GRC solutions.
