About the Role
The Sustainable Procurement Data Analyst will be a key member of the Procurement & Sustainability Digital Insights team, responsible for collecting, validating, and ingesting sustainability-related data to support Diageos Scope 3 carbon reporting. You ll be providing information to support sustainability standards and frameworks, particularly the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
The successful candidate will work with Global Procurement, Grain to Glass & Non-Financial Reporting teams to provide data used in reporting Diageo s Scope 3 Carbon emissions.
Key responsibilities include:
Data Collection:
- Gather sustainability data from various internal and external sources.
- Ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Data Validation:
- Validate collected data to meet quality standards.
- Align data with external reporting requirements.
Data Ingestion:
- Ingest validated data into Diageos sustainability reporting systems and databases.
Reporting:
- Support the preparation of Scope 3 carbon reports.
- Ensure alignment with CSRD and other relevant sustainability standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners.
- Ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for improving data collection, validation, and reporting processes.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant sustainability standards and regulations.
About You
For this role we are looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:
- University Degree in a quantitative (STEM) or environment/sustainability focused discipline or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in data analysis, preferably within a Supply Chain or Sustainability function.
- Excellent data management and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software - including Advanced Excel, PowerBI and SAP.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferable to have some understanding of sustainability standards and frameworks, including CSRD.
