Job Description
- Engage with Senior Partners: Independently interact with senior partners both in the market and at our Shared Services Center in Bangalore.
- Lead Month-End Closings: Ensure smooth and accurate month-end closings, including accrual calculations and journal entry preparation.
- Support Planning and Forecasting: Assist with planning and O&R forecasting to help guide business decisions.
- Analyze Financial Data: Examine spending (actuals vs. plan), identify actionable insights, and resolve any issues.
- Ensure Compliance: Lead controls and compliance, suggest improvements, and follow up on implementation.
- Prepare Reports and Presentations: Build financial reports and presentation materials, and lead meetings with senior partners.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with various teams to ensure efficient budget management systems are in place and functioning well.
- Drive Operational Improvements: Proactively identify, design, and implement operational improvements to drive standardization, simplification, and automation Act like an Owner .
- Education - A degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, or a strong ability to learn and grow.
- Experience - 3 to 5 years in a multinational corporate environment, ideally in Financial Accounting, Financial Controlling, or FP&A.
- Business Partnering - Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence, challenge, and collaborate at all levels.
- Technical Expertise - Hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO modules, advanced Excel skills, and MS applications.
- Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking - Ability to analyze complex data, think critically, and drive business decisions.
- Communication - Excellent verbal and written English skills to engage with diverse partners
- Agility & Approach - Hardworking, proactive, adaptable, and inquisitive with a passion for continuous improvement.
Advantageous Experience - Audit, SOX compliance, shared services, or previous exposure to financial transformation projects
