Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and optimize Android applications that are efficient, scalable, and maintainable.
• Lead technical discussions and provide strategic input on app architecture, best practices, and performance optimization.
• Develop UI components using Jetpack Compose, ensuring a modern and intuitive user experience.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services while ensuring security, performance, and reliability.
• Drive code quality through best practices, peer code reviews, and implementation of design patterns like MVVM/MVP.
• Optimize app performance by monitoring memory usage, network calls, and UI responsiveness.
• Ensure security best practices such as SSL Pinning, data encryption, reCAPTCHA, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
• Mentor junior developers, conduct training sessions, and promote continuous learning within the team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (design, backend, product teams) to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient build, test, and deployment processes.
• Stay ahead of the curve, researching and implementing the latest Android trends, tools, and frameworks.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Android application development with a deep understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack, and modern architectures.
• Expert-level proficiency in Kotlin (Java experience is a plus).
• Strong experience with Jetpack Compose for UI development.
• Deep knowledge of Android architecture components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Paging, WorkManager).
• Expertise in dependency injection using Dagger/Hilt and modular app development.
• Proven experience with API integration (RESTful APIs, WebSockets) and third-party libraries.
• Hands-on experience with security best practices (SSL Pinning, data encryption, OAuth, JWT).
• Proficiency in Unit Testing & UI Testing (JUnit, Espresso, Mockito).
• Strong experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (Bitrise, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Experience with Firebase services (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, Push Notifications).
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges efficiently.

Preferred Skills

• Should be a good and confident communicator as needs to be interact with client daily
• Experience with performance profiling tools to optimize app memory, battery usage, and network efficiency.
• Hands-on experience with Firebase services (Analytics, Crashlytics, Push Notifications).
• Familiar with modularization and multi-module architecture.
• Experience with Google Play Console for release management and app analytics.
• Exposure to Ktor or Retrofit for efficient networking.
• Experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools like Jira.
