Android Developer

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Android Developer Immediate Joiner at Pineswift Technologies. The ideal candidate will own and develop features independently, focusing on a maintainable and modular design. You will be involved in all aspects of the development process, from initial design to final release, ensuring high quality and performance.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field

Experience:

3-6 years of experience in Android development

Key Responsibilities:

Develop features independently with maintainable and modular design.
Create detailed low-level designs and flow diagrams for features under development.
Stay updated on ongoing and new design practices, incorporating them into the development process.
Perform thorough self-testing to minimize defects before release.
Resolve issues promptly and effectively post-release.
Engage with stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure a comprehensive understanding.
Participate in innovation activities and tech events both inside and outside the company.
Create and maintain unit tests, including mock objects and tests for asynchronous code.

Required Skills:

Proficient in Kotlin and Java, with a strong understanding of Android architecture and design.
Experience with dependency injection frameworks (Hilt/Dagger).
Familiarity with Android fundamentals (MVVM / MVI, Clean Architecture, Jetpack Compose, etc.).
Good understanding of design patterns and UML.
Experience with code versioning and IDE tools: Git, Android Studio.
Prior experience shipping Android apps for consumers.
Good to have knowledge of Jetpack Compose.
Strong logical and analytical abilities.
