Devops Lead

Job Title: DevOps Lead

Location: Bangalore, India

Experience: 12+ years

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement DevOps strategies and best practices using Azure DevOps tools and services.
2. Lead and manage a team of DevOps engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, operations, and quality assurance, to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
4. Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for various applications, ensuring smooth and automated software deployments.
5. Configure and manage Azure DevOps services, including source control, build, release, and test management.
6. Implement and enforce DevOps and Agile methodologies, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated testing.
7. Monitor and analyze system performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
8. Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting assistance to the team, resolving complex issues related to Azure DevOps.
9. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to DevOps and Azure services.
10. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives, and ensure timely and successful project delivery.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
2. Strong experience in Azure DevOps and its associated tools and services (Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, Azure Boards, etc.).
3. Proficient in working with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
4. Extensive knowledge of DevOps practices, principles, and methodologies.
5. Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team of DevOps engineers.
6. Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and hands-on experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines.
7. Proficiency in scripting and automation using Biceps, PowerShell, Python, or other relevant languages.
8. Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, including cloud-based infrastructure and services.
9. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
10. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
11. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
12. Relevant certifications, such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, are a plus.
