Transformation & Project Execution Director (f/m/x)

Details of the role and how it fits into the team

You will be joining the Corporate Bank Divisional Control Office Transformations & Project Execution team. The Transformations & Project Execution team is a newly formed global function which will be responsible for driving transformation, Project Management, and risk remediation across CB DCO. You will work with Management across Corporate Bank and partners to address top priorities by driving collaborative thinking and strategic change. Together with the project teams, you will lead and execute high impact initiatives, in partnership with stakeholders globally.

Your key responsibilities

• You are responsible for driving key initiatives on behalf of the CB DCO globally; working closely with the DCO, CB Products, Coverage, RTM, Technology and Operations to establish and deliver key priorities globally
• You will establish an outcome-oriented program portfolio with effective Project governance, managing senior stakeholders, sponsors, functions across 1st and 2nd LoD
• You ensure efficient project execution by effectively identifying and managing dependencies between initiatives, always striving for harmonization and standardization globally, adhering to regional and product specific necessities.
• You manage the information need of senior management as well as external stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision making
• You take accountability in being part of the solution, driving initiatives to success across the portfolio
• You play a proactive role in further developing DCO sharing and developing best practices on business process re-engineering, project management, and multi-initiative management
• You develop professional working relationships with colleagues, the business and respective supporting teams.

Your skills and experiences

• At least 12+ years of proven experience in the program management, transformation and risk management domain, preferably within Corporate Bank
• Strong leadership and management abilities to lead front-to-back transformation and risk / regulatory programs and to engage with senior stakeholders
• Proficient understanding of the products, services and systems for the Corporate Bank with a strong focus on client centricity
• Excellent analytical capabilities and conceptional thinking with aptitude in decision-making & problem solving
• Highly motivated to drive change, self-reliant and structured way of working with high willingness to take responsibility, and ability to deliver highest level of quality under time pressure
• Ability to detect and trouble-shoot issues with a high attention to detail
• Able to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
• Strong team player, able to work in virtual global teams and in a matrix organization
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
