Role Description:

Deutsche Bank is looking to expand its internal Technology capability to provide best in class technology solutions for the Banking industry.

You will work as part of a cross-functional agile delivery team, including analysts, developers and testers. You will be majorly responsible for managing end to end test cycle and creating and maintaining automation test cases

You will be someone who sees engineering as team activity, with a predisposition to open code, open discussion and creating a supportive, collaborative environment. You will be ready to take a leading role in all stages of software delivery, from initial analysis right through to production support.

Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining automation suite in the Enterprise Risk Technology environment. Employees work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications. Employees typically have in-depth knowledge of automation tools and languages. Typically requires 5-8 years of applicable experience.

Your key responsibilities

Speciality Overview

• Responsible for building automated Regression Testing capability and enhance automation suite
• Participating fully in Agile software development process
• In times of need and certain situations utilize manual testing mechanism for testing the application(s)
• Responsible for Defect tracking and generation of Test reports for internal consumption and release process
• Participate in the activities of the broader QA and Testing community
• Align to the wider domain objectives
• Help your team to build, test and release software within short lead times and with minimum of waste.
• Help participate in a culture of learning and continuous improvement within your team and beyond

Your skills and experience

• Typically 5-8 years of relevant and applicable experience
• Experience in the areas of testing with specialization in Automation testing
• Hands on experience in Web Applications Automation Testing
• Hands on experience in middleware/backend service based application Testing
• Experience in Usability, Functional and Browser Compatibility testing
• Hands on Experience in Selenium, Java, Rest Assured, Gherkin, Cucumber, Jenkins
• Working knowledge of Java is a mandatory skill
• Knowledge of automated Regression Testing capability and enhance automation suite
• Experience of SQL is a must, PL/SQL would be desirable
• Exposure to performance testing is desirable.
• Experience in Agile test methodology. Individual must have experience of working within full Agile teams. They will need to have experience working within a fully functional team that performs analysis, dev and test for feature slices
• Experience in Defect tracking tools and Test reports
• Should posess good communication skills

Education/ Qualifications

• We are happy to consider candidates with a wide variety of educational backgrounds and qualifications. Qualifications in computer science, STEM subjects, other numerate disciplines, business and economics are beneficial for the role.
• We also look favourably upon candidates with equivalent practical experience. This could have be gained in the workplace or in other contexts, such as contributing to open source software or working on personal projects.
