Performing both internal and external QHSES audits of company facilities, assets, operations, etc and sub-contractors and acting as a QHSES point of contact
Playing an active role in seeking/maintaining ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 or any suitable accreditation as required
Actively being part in creating/maintaining SOPs for the company with regards to work like road transportation, barging, port handling activities, civil work, etc.
Supporting in preparing prequalification, tenders, questionnaires, and planning and executing projects in line with QHSES
Contributing to the creation and delivery of QHSES training across the organization
Creating lessons learned, QHSES moments and QHSES case studies, and assisting in the development and rollout of QHSES initiatives
Assisting in the development and maintenance of our QHSES application SAI360
Actively being part as QHSES representative for the project operations like road transportation, barging, port handling activities, civil work, etc.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
Minimum experience of 5-7 years as a full-time QHSES professional working within a global position
Proven track record of working in the logistics industry in a QHSES role
Work experience with a transportation company would be a plus point
A NEBOSH certificate as an equivalent to QHSES qualification
Accredited lead or internal auditor qualification
Experience in a variety of risk management processes and tools such as bowtie, HAZID, HAZOP, HIRA, SJA and PTW
Effective interpersonal skills, including leadership, communication, effective negotiation and conflict resolution; team player with a proactive work ethics
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Willingness to travel on domestic/international business trips
