Horticulture Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Manage the landscape of the assigned property.
• Prepare landscape decks with plant specifications for each project.
• Designing of landscaping and grounds maintenance
• Cultivating gardens and indoor displays and performing maintenance work in and around the property.
• Prepare detailed list of plants required for each project.
• Plan delivery of plants keeping the site conditions in mind
• Check plants prepared by the nursery team before dispatch to ensure compliance with specifications and quality control.
• Coordinate delivery of plants to project sites and provide guidance to the maintenance team on plant placement and care.
• Supervision of daily maintenance and watering and pest maintenance, farming work as per drawings and up keeping activities.
• Guiding site-supervisors and installers with project intent and plant care while handling
• Clarify team queries related to plant selection and maintenance.
• Oversee plant maintenance post-installation and conduct regular site visits for projects with ongoing plant maintenance contracts.
• Monitor plant health, identify, and manage pest and disease issues, and provide recommendations for plant care and fertilization.
• Manage team of gardeners, their weekly maintenance schedule, clarify maintenance related doubts.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience in plant selection, and horticultural management.
• Should have clear understanding of plants by types & nature, lawn management.
• Good understanding of weeds, use of pesticides, and manuring
• Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of plant care, fertilization, and pest and disease management.
