Database Administrator - Neo4j (4-6 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Manage and administer Neo4J graph databases, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and high availability.

- Design and implement Neo4J clusters for fault tolerance and high availability.

- Optimize Cypher queries for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.

- Utilize Neo4J OpsManager or similar tools to monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot issues.

- Implement robust backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for Neo4J databases.

- Automate administrative tasks using shell scripting on Linux/Unix environments.

- Deploy and manage Neo4J instances on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Enforce security best practices, including user authentication, role management, and data encryption.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Neo4J technologies and best practices.

- Collaborate with developers and data scientists to ensure efficient integration of Neo4J with other systems.

Qualifications :

- 4-6 years of experience in database administration with a focus on graph databases (Neo4J preferred).

- Strong understanding of Neo4J architecture, clustering concepts, and high availability configurations.

- Proficiency in Cypher Query Language (CQL) and query optimization techniques.

- Experience with Neo4J OpsManager or similar monitoring tools.

- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting for automation.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.

- Knowledge of Neo4J security practices and data encryption is a plus.

- Experience with APOC, Bloom, or graph visualization tools is a plus.

- Understanding of DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes) for Neo4J deployment is a plus
