Jellyfish Technologies - Database Administrator - MongoDB (6-8 yrs)

Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator MongoDB to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of an organization's database systems (MongoDB, MySQL).

Required skills :

- Designing and implementing database systems to meet the organization's needs (designs and implements data models, data dictionaries, data standards, and data quality rules, uses various tools and languages, such as SQL, PL/SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and NoSQL, to develop and manage databases).

- Monitoring and optimizing database performance.

- Ensuring data security and integrity (implements and enforces database security policies, roles, permissions, encryption, auditing, and logging.

- Troubleshooting and resolving database issues.

- Implementing backup and recovery procedures.

- Collaborating with other teams to ensure database systems are integrated with other systems.

- Keeping up-to-date with the latest database technologies and trends.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

- Minimum 6 years of experience working with database management systems such as SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, etc on AWS RDS or GCP Cloud SQL (SQL is preferred).

- MongoDB experience is a must.

- Proficiency in database design, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

- Strong understanding of database security best practices.

- Experience with database backup and recovery procedures.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

- Highly organized and responsible.
