Responsibilities:
- Lead and document user requirement gathering for system development, ensuring that end-to-end processes are accurately and adequately documented.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, control the scope, document and track the requirements, identify and manage interdependencies, and design solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners.
- Work closely with IT teams to design and implement solutions, including system integration, testing, and deployment.
- Provide feedback on critical areas and challenge the processes/information when required.
- Monitor and report the project progress and quality.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Experienced in the health insurance industry in a similar capacity as a business analyst and Program Lead. Preferred exposure to Group Health Insurance.
- Expert knowledge in insurance life cycles with exposure to processes like new business, billing and collections, customer service, claims, distribution, correspondence, and at least one Policy Admin System.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Nice to Have:
- Significant exposure to Asian markets, and experience with the health insurance industry, particularly Shield products.
- Certification as a Business Analyst (CBAP)
- Exposure to tools like Confluence, JIRA, Clarity
