Role Overview :

We are seeking a hands-on Data Scientist with strong statistical foundations and practical machine learning experience. The ideal candidate will work on varied problem statements and should be capable of designing and implementing end-to-end solutions that can be quickly deployed to production.

Technical Requirements :

1. Core Skills :

- Advanced statistics and probability fundamentals

- Extensive experience in Python, particularly within Azure Databricks environment

- Working knowledge of PySpark for large-scale data processing

- Proven track record in implementing machine learning solutions

- Experience with model diagnostics, hyperparameter tuning, and interpretation

2. Machine Learning Expertise :

- Strong foundation across the ML spectrum (classification, regression, clustering)

- Ability to create and justify target variables when not explicitly provided

- Experience in feature engineering and selection

- Practical knowledge of model evaluation and validation techniques

- Hands-on experience with ML model deployment and monitoring

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement end-to-end machine learning solutions

- Handle dynamic data volumes efficiently

- Create and validate hypotheses for business problems

- Develop and maintain scalable ML pipelines

- Perform complex statistical analysis and interpret results

- Transform business requirements into technical solutions and vice versa

Required Experience :

- Proven track record of implementing production-grade ML solutions

- Experience working with large-scale datasets

- History of successful end-to-end project delivery

- Demonstrated ability to create and defend modeling choices

- Strong documentation and communication skills

- History of working with dynamic and large-scale datasets

- Experience in model optimization and performance tuning
