Initially catering to the bespoke needs of high-net-worth individuals (HNI) and institutional clients, Della has expanded into manufacturing, offering a comprehensive range of interior fit-out solutions. The product portfolio spans across 16 lines, including furniture, tiles, paints, décor, and more. Della also collaborates with renowned Indian and international architects and interior designers, facilitating their entry into the Indian market. Additionally, Della is involved in luxury residential and commercial projects, continuing its legacy of excellence in the design domain.

Role Overview:

The Head of Design Home and Office Products will lead the creative direction for these categories within Della Luxury Products. The candidate will shape the design narrative for product development and digital presence, ensuring alignment with Dellas luxury standards. The role requires a deep understanding of design, innovation, and collaboration with both in-house and external stakeholders, including renowned architects and designers. The Head of Design will also manage Dellas expansion into new townships and luxury residential/commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design Leadership:

• Drive the design strategy for Home and Office Products, ensuring alignment with market trends and Dellas luxury brand positioning.
• Oversee the design and development of various product lines, including furniture, décor, and interior solutions.
• Collaborate with product development and manufacturing teams to maintain Della’s high standards of craftsmanship.

2. Digital and Website Strategy:

• Define the design aesthetic for the Home and Office product landing pages on the Della website.
• Ensure that the imagery, content, and overall user experience on the website reflect the luxury and quality associated with the brand.

3. Collaboration with Architects and Designers:

• Facilitate collaborations with both Indian and international architects and interior designers to establish their presence in the Indian market.
• Provide creative and logistical support to ease the entry of international designers into the Indian design space.

4. Project Involvement:

• Collaborate with the business development and lead generation teams to support design projects for luxury residential and commercial developments.
• Provide design direction for township projects and large-scale luxury developments from concept through to execution.

5. Team Management:

• Build and lead a talented design team, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and collaboration.
• Mentor junior designers and promote design excellence throughout the team.

6. Market Research and Trend Analysis:

• Stay updated with global and local design trends, materials, and technologies.
• Integrate innovative ideas into Della’s product and project design processes.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial design, Architecture, Interior Design, or related fields.
• A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in design, with a focus on luxury home and office products.
• Proven experience in leading design teams and managing large-scale, high-end projects.
• Expertise in luxury product design, particularly in the Home and Office categories.
• Strong understanding of the Indian and international design markets.
• Experience collaborating with architects, interior designers, and manufacturers.
• Ability to develop a cohesive design strategy across products and digital platforms.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Suite, etc.

Additional Information:

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 7 PM; Saturday, 10 AM to 5 PM.
• Flexibility Required: Due to the launch phase, the role may require longer working hours initially.
• Travel: This role involves frequent travel as instructed by the management.
• Reporting Structure: The candidate will report directly to the Chairman and Managing Director.
