Job Description

This position will be responsible for the delivery of projects related to KYC operations.

The operations will cover:

1. KYC Due Diligence and Account monitoring

2. AML Transaction Monitoring

The process will include:

1. Assessing the underlying risk of a customer (covering but not limited to registration, regulatory/license, nature of business, legal status, ownership structure, key personnel, sanctions, PEP/SOE and adverse news)

2. Extracting & validation information from different sources (databases, company websites, open web searches)

3. Performing due diligence and prepare exhaustive due diligence reports

4. Transaction monitoring alert reviews (L1 and L2)

The individual will work in close partnership with the operations teams to ensure accurate and complete data quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage an engagement with span of 10 to 20 team members

- Implement industry best practices, quality controls and reporting metrices (related to KYC and AML)

- Conduct quality reviews (Peer QA and QC)

- Prepare MIS reports and documentation related to the tasks

- Client management

- Team training

- Process improvements, System implementations, if applicable

Mandatory requirements

- 8+ years experience with Global Financial Institutions, with strong hands on experience in handling both KYC Due Diligence (legal entities) and AML Transaction Monitoring

- Expert domain knowledge - Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

- Proven record in client interactions

- Strong Analytical skills to spot trends and patterns

- Strong Reporting skills (MIS for operational statistics)

- Strong team and engagement management skills
