Title: Controls & Instrumentation Engineer

operates under an ISO 9001 certified quality management system. DTIs sister concern, Deepsea

Technologies (India) Pvt.Ltd.(DTIPL) is in Hyderabad, India and provides engineering and support

services to DTI Houston.

DMD Description:

Deepsea Manufacturing Division (DMD) based in Telangana, Hyderabad, Jeedimetla and

established in 2009. Its provides quality subsea machined products, assembly and QC services to the offshore oil & gas industry. DMD is certified to ISO 9001: 2015 and API Q1.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble and tests subsea production control system and drilling control HPUs, subsea

distribution hardware & assemblies according to company, customer and industry

specifications.

• Prepares test procedures and operations / maintenance manuals in accordance with
  customer and industry standards and specifications.
• Direct and supervise electrical and assembly technicians.
• Assemble electro-hydraulic / pneumatic systems consisting of bending complex tubing runs.
• Performs fluid analysis on various types of control fluids and / or chemicals.
• Proficiency in operation of Electric Pumps, Pneumatic Pumps, Direction Control Valves, Flow

meters, Level Switches, Sensors. Troubleshoots to identify issues.

• Proficiency in Hydraulic and Pneumatic principles applicable to controls equipment and

assemblies.

• Ensure safety when assembling and testing equipment.
• Apply specialized skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to
  insure most efficient layout and operational performance.
• Assist with design, set up, maintains and utilizes test stations and test equipment for factory

and system acceptance testing.

• Make recommendation to the project engineering team to improve assembly efficiency,

maintenance and reliability and system performance.

• Identify and communicate design discrepancies.
• Identify and suggest design improvements.
• Prepare required test documentation including test reports, failed test reports and
  Nonconformance Reports.
• Witness and carry out commissioning and testing trials.
• Liaise with clients as required during manufacturing process, testing and trials.
• Ensure system cleanliness is maintained, and operational requirements are met throughout
  the build and testing of equipment accordance with project specifications and industry
  standards.

Education and Experience:

• Diploma or Degree in engineering
• technical/vocational training or related experience
• 10+ years experience in assembling and testing HPUs for subsea production control and drilling control applications, and subsea distribution systems.
• Minimum of 2 years in a lead role with turnkey responsibility for assembly and testing these

systems.

• High level of expertise in assembly and testing of Electro-Hydraulic Power and Control units,

subsea distribution equipment and drilling control systems.

• Self-motivated and willing to take initiative with limited direction.
• Ability to use personal computer and Windows Office software

Physical Demands:

• Physical requirements are those typically found in an office and manufacturing shop

environment.
