Sales Officer/ Sr. Officer - (Cement sector )

Candidate should have about 5 years of sales/marketing relevent experience in Cement Industry. Any Graduation + MBA preferred.

Role & responsibilities

• Meet or exceed established sales targets through effective sales strategies.
• Collaborate with logistics teams to arrange timely dispatch of materials via authorized transporters.
• Identify and reach out to potential dealers/retailers through cold calls and follow-up efforts to grow the Cement Business network.
• Handling trade & non-trade sales.
• Ensure timely collection of receivables from clients.
• Regularly prepare and submit detailed reports to management, ensuring accurate tracking of performance and goals.
• Ensure comprehensive coverage of the assigned territory, effectively managing all areas.
• Monitor competitor pricing and promotional schemes, providing regular reports to management.
• Organize and execute promotional activities to boost brand visibility and product awareness.
• Engage with builders, contractors, architects, and government departments to present product features and applications.
• Maintain accurate and timely MIS (Management Information System) for product sales and dispatches.
• Regularly check stock levels with dealers/retailers and ensure timely placement of orders.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned to meet business needs.
• Identify regions with low market share and develop strategies to address gaps.

Desired profile:

• Proficient in Outlook & MS office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel etc.)
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills
• Basic to intermediate Finance knowledge
