Job Description

To Assist IBG COO Head in managing Governance & Control within IBG with an aim of ensuring a sound Risk and Control environment and Customer Complaints.
Key Accountabilities
  • Conduct thematic reviews on Policy, process, and Credit risk.
  • Improve processes wherever required
  • Closure of complaints are in line with the Policy/Process and Regulatory guidelines.
  • Complaints are closed within 14 days.
  • Nil High Risk and repeat Audit issues.
Job Duties & responsibilities
Governance & Control
  • Point of contact for Audits, Internal, Statutory, Concurrent, Regulatory, etc.
  • Be Audit ready at all point of time by conducting thematic reviews.
  • Conduct thematic reviews on Policy, process, and Credit risk.
  • Conduct thematic reviews on past Audit observations.
  • Oversite of Governance related activities.
  • Tracking of CCU Exceptions
  • Tracking completion of e-learnings, trainings & Block Leave
  • Ensuring that KRIs for the unit are below the thresholds
  • Credit Committee - Analyzing the final pack, coordinating with various departments for getting the updates and Follow-up on closure of Open Action Items
  • Facilitate Regulatory Reporting
  • Tracking regulatory submission for FDI/ODI/ECB transactions as a part of FEMA Taskforce
  • Reduce outstanding EDPMS, IDPMS, ORM and Shipping Bills
BCP/BIA Coordinator & other related activities
  • Preparing the BCP/BIA document
  • Preparing all other BCP related exercises/ reports during the year- Staff recall, functional exercises
  • Attending the BCP and the BCAP DR drill during the year at the alternate sites
Customer Complaints
  • Ensure that complaints are closed in a timely manner.
  • Review and Analyse complaints with proper Root cause analysis.
  • Closure of complaints are in line with the Policy/Process and Regulatory guidelines.
  • Highlight process gaps and track process improvements.
Required Experience
  1. Sufficient knowledge and experience of Corporate Banking processes
  2. Understanding of Regulations related to Credit/AML/KYC/
  3. Ability to provide balanced perspective between business expediency and Risk & Control
  4. Ability to communicate effectively
Education / Preferred Qualifications
CA / MBA with 5-8 years of experience
