Group Leader

Role & responsibilities :

Coordinate with the Planning team to create the monthly Production Plan (based on current Capacity) maximizing utilization of each line, maintaining the product mix as per prioritization of customers.

• In case of any Material issue (shortage/lot rejection/containment) coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of quality raw materials considering Production Plan and Customer Dispatch.
• Capacity Calculation and enhancement for LINE, MACHINE, MANPOWER, PROCESS.
• Implementing 5S on shop floor and educating workers for the same. Designing and Implementing a system for sustaining 5’S.
• Co ordinate with team for daily discussion Plan vs actual.
• To make month wise dispatch plan as per customer requirement.
• Scheduling and planning of production target as per customer requirement.
• To maintaining the 5’S, KAIZEN and continual improvement in the shop floor.
• Well versed with all activities of SMED.
• Co-ordinate with all members for activity to improve the line efficiency.
• Working towards Improving Productivity, Quality and process with the various production techniques and reduction of all waste (MUDA) from the shop floor.
• Performing time/motion studies on production equipment to successfully establish production bottlenecks.
• Calculate machines capacity details.
• Proficient in commissioning & maintenance of machinery and in implementing process enhancement, Safety, and quality control techniques.

Preferred candidate profile :

Minimum Qualification Required : Diploma, B.Tech

Preferred Qualification : Diploma/ B.Tech

Preferred Experience : 5 Year

Industry Preference : Manufacturing
