Job Description
- Sustain and build strong sales pipeline for Ocean transport with current and new customers.
- Identification of Ocean Transport new business potential and customers according to the defined sales strategy.
- Manage and nurture strong customer relationships for long-term business this includes proactive customer management, engagement, identification of needs, generating proposals and developing high value, innovative transportation solutions to meet customer needs
- Active stakeholder management and collaboration with various teams on RFI/RFQ/RFP, solutioning and implementation
- Identify new business opportunities for the company and cross-sell products
- Stay abreast on macro and micro trends in the industry, competition in the area/branch and recommend solutions/actions required for Ocean Transport to sustain its competitive advantage in the market
- Accountable and ownership of sales metrics including regular reviews and preparation of sales reports
