Area Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Grow annual sales to meet the company goals and fulfill the strategic plans.
• The qualified candidate will promote and support sales activity within the territory
• To become effectively educated in the assigned target market, products and industries.
• Bring added value to the process from ones own energy and ambition for success.
• Management of existing sales channels and develop new customers within the assigned region to encompass establishment of sales targets, submission of performance reviews, monthly sales reports, development of regional sales strategies and supervising corrective action measures as may be required.
• Evaluate and suggest new market and existing market opportunities for sales growth in the assigned region.
• Collect information relating to changes in the market place in the assigned region.
• Meeting or exceeding targeted sales quotas and productivity standards

Preferred candidate profile

• Hold a bachelors degree / Diploma in engineering: Mechanical required.
• More than 4 years of industrial sales experience.
• Knowledge of value-based selling, project management techniques, processes and tools.
• A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies.
• A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach.
• Strong communication skills in English.
