Legal Contracts Administrator

Datavail is looking for a Legal Contracts Administrator in Mumbai who will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of contracts within an organization, ensuring compliance with legal standards and organizational policies. Key responsibilities and qualifications for this role include:

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting and Reviewing Contracts: Prepare, review, edit, and finalize various internal and external client agreements, ensuring they meet legal and organizational standards.
• Quality Control: Ensure contracts adhere to standard legal and financial terms, maintaining high-quality control throughout the contract management process.
• Negotiation Support: Assist in negotiating contract terms to secure favorable conditions for the organization, escalating legal changes to global contracts managers and regional counsel as needed.
• Data Management: Input contract details and potential conflicts into internal databases, coordinating with legal project associates and managers on data metrics related to contract dynamics and lifecycles.
• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all contracts comply with legal requirements, company policies, and government regulations, mitigating financial and legal risks. Educational Background: An undergraduate degree with a strong academic record from an accredited institution.

Qualifications:

• Professional Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a professional services firm or similar environment, with preferred experience working with contracts or legal documents.
• Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to exercise excellent judgment and professionalism, with a keen eye for detail to identify potential risks and inconsistencies.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with diverse teams and explaining complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
