Legal Executive

Position: Executive - Legal

Location: Sakinaka, Andheri East

Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive Executive - Legal to ensure compliance with legal standards, manage contracts and intellectual property, oversee data privacy, mitigate legal risks, and support the companys operations through effective legal policies and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Legal Compliance:

- Stay up-to-date with the constantly changing legal and regulatory landscape in the SAAS industry.

- Ensure the company's operations and products comply with all relevant laws and regulations.

• Contract Management:

- Manage, review, and draft a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and licenses.

- Negotiate and nalize contracts with customers, partners, and vendors.

• Data Protection and Privacy:

- Oversee data protection and privacy compliance, including GDPR and other relevant regulations.

- Work closely with the data protection ocer to maintain compliance with data privacy laws.

• Intellectual Property:

- Protect and manage the company's intellectual property rights, including trademarks, patents, and copyrights.

- Handle intellectual property disputes and licensing agreements.

• Risk Assessment:

- Identify potential legal risks and provide proactive advice and solutions to address these risks. -- Develop risk mitigation strategies to protect the company's interests.

• Litigation Management:

- Manage any legal disputes or litigation involving the company.

- Collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary and represent the company in legal proceedings.

• Policy Development:

- Develop and implement corporate policies and procedures that align with legal and ethical standards.

• Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure the company adheres to industry-specic regulations and standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) is mandatory.
• 1+ year of experience in a similar role (internship experience in corporate or law firms is acceptable).
• Basic understanding of contract laws and regulatory compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and legal research tools.
