Devops Lead

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience in setting up and managing infrastructure requirements for CI/CD implementation.
• Technical expertise in designing scalable and secure CI/CD architectures for complex systems.
• Proficiency with GitLab CI/CD, including pipeline creation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and integration of security tools and practices into CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with common security tools such as SonarQube, OWASP ZAP, etc., for static code analysis, vulnerability scanning, and dependency management.
• Strong scripting skills in Shell, Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages for automation.
• Solid understanding of version control systems (Git), branching strategies, and best practices for branching and merging.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of guiding technical teams and collaborating with business stakeholders.
• Proven ability to solve complex technical problems and architect solutions balancing security and performance.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and passionate about continuous learning and innovation.

Good to Have Skills:

• Basic understanding of the webMethods integration platform, including webMethods Developer, Integration Server, and related services.
• Knowledge of webMethods deployment strategies and tools (e.g., wM Deployer).

What You Will Be Doing:

• Architecting and implementing CI/CD pipelines to support scalable, secure, and efficient software delivery.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand infrastructure requirements and translating them into actionable solutions.
• Integrating security tools and practices into CI/CD pipelines to enforce DevSecOps principles.
• Managing and optimizing GitLab CI/CD pipelines, including creating, configuring, and troubleshooting workflows.
• Utilizing tools like SonarQube and OWASP ZAP for static code analysis and vulnerability scanning.
• Writing and maintaining scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
• Leading efforts in version control management, ensuring best practices in branching and merging strategies.
• Using containerization technologies like Docker to enhance development and deployment processes.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in CI/CD pipelines efficiently.
• Guiding and mentoring technical teams while effectively communicating with business stakeholders.
• Staying updated with the latest technologies and trends in CI/CD and DevSecOps to drive innovation.
