Backend/DevOps Engineer

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who not only possesses excellent problem-solving abilities but also has a deep understanding of Web3 technologies and decentralized infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing cloud-based environments, automating deployment processes, and optimizing system performance to support our blockchain analytics platform.

Additionally, they should demonstrate expertise in implementing security best practices, ensuring the reliability and scalability of our systems in the decentralized landscape. Responsibilities

Run and maintain validator and blockchain nodes.
Build automation and management systems to deliver the various services across DappLooker tech.
Experience with backend development, including API design and implementation, as well as a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms, is a valuable asset.
Participate in the design, building, testing, and automation of the development infrastructure.
Cultivate a culture of learning by providing insight into performance and reliability at an operational level.
Experience building and delivering large-scale software systems.
Minimize bottlenecks and automate repetitive tasks.
Support, troubleshoot, and analyze code on all 3 layers of the stack related to infrastructure, middleware, and continuous integration and delivery frameworks.

What we Expect

0-5 years experience in backend, devops, web3, tech startup.
Hands-on understanding of DevOps tools and automation frameworks.
Proficiency in building scalable and efficient backend systems, along with the ability to solve complex technical problems using well-structured algorithms.
Experience working with both bare metal infrastructure (e.g., Hetzner) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP).
Deep working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and associated technologies.
Demonstrated hands-on experience with DevOps techniques building continuous integration solutions using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker.
Strong experience with the AWS Cloud platform (EC2, EKS, ECR, Route53, RDS, etc.).
Good experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry, etc.) and services (Datadog, New Relic, etc.).
Experience coaching team members and helping them resolve issues.
Strong automation and problem-solving skills with the ability to follow through to completion.
Understanding of the Blockchain landscape is a plus.
Mission-driven, self-motivated, and able to develop trust with potential partners' executives and influencers.
Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical features to cross-functional counterparts and clients.
Strong organization skills and attention to detail. Naturally positive, collaborative, and easy-going.
