Project Mechanical Engineer _ Belgaum & Kadapa

Role & responsibilities

1. Erection and commissioning related activities for whole section including the following activities to complete the project as per business schedule and targets

• Execution of site work within scheduled time, quality and safety guidelines.
• Preparation of Erection schedule for respective area integrated with inter department.
• Supervision of Site Execution work including the drawing study and co-relate with Civil, Mechanical Drawings and E&I drawings, detailed study of Equipment drawing with the GA and Erection drawings.
• Equipment handling during unloading and proper documentation with tracking.
• Preparing documentation for the equipment details as per the GA and Flow Sheet and floor wise detailing for the erection follow up along with the deliveries.
• Coordinate with Inter department for the inspection of Insert plates before the concrete pouring in all respective area.
• Equipment Assembly and Erection supervision and coordination with the vendor for the protocol making and Quality inspection documentation work.
• Should have knowledge in the Material Handling equipment erection and commissioning like Belt Conveyor, Elevator, Chain Conveyor, Air-slide, Screw Conveyors, Fans, Blowers, Compressors, Pollution control equipment and etc.
• Fabrication Schedule preparation and BOQ preparation.
• Structural and Plate work fabrication supervision and quality inspection.
• Coordinate with Contractor for the man power planning and work distribution according to the schedule and highlighting the defficiency in work schedule.
• Crane requirement planning and exploring suitable crane with the detailed study of crane load chart.

2. Mills

• Should have knowledge in the erection activities in Mills and its auxiliaries.

3. Packing Plant

• Should have knowledge in the erection activities in the erection of Packers and its accessories.

4. Kiln

• Should have knowledge in the erection activities and Protocols making for the Kiln, Cooler, detailed scheduling for the Preheater erection execution and requirement schedule to the fabrication department.

5. Pollution Control Equipment

• Should have knowledge in Bag filter, Baghouse and ESP assembly and erection, schedule preparation for assembly and erection.

6. Crusher and Material Handling

• Should have knowledge in Erection and Commissioning of Crusher, Stacker & Reclaimer, Belt Conveyors.
• Should have knowledge in SAP MM Module.

7. Self development and developing subordinates.
