Dalmia Cement - Project Head (20-25 yrs)

Primary Role:

- Plan, strategizing and monitoring execution of the projects from concept to commissioning within budgeted costs satisfying the product quality, delivery schedules, and safety, environmental requirements

- Identify opportunities that add value to the business going forward in alignment to the growth aspirations of the organization

- Spot and exploit market trends to identify new greenfield / brown field project based on market demand/supply and region wise growth projections

- Lead technical and commercial evaluation of bids

- Direct site specific feasibility studies, initial (topography/geotechnical) and stage inspections during delivery

- Lead engineering and project management efforts within budgeted costs satisfying the product quality, delivery schedules and safety, environmental requirements

- Formulate scope of engineering and finalize plant layout, systems / packages

- Prepare budget projections, time schedules and resource planning

- Identify cost reduction initiatives

- Ensure project engineering, procurement & commissioning related to all disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical & instrumentation)

- Review budget vs actual and ensure formulation of action plans to correct deviations

- Risk management during project implementation

- Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, internally and externally

- Maintain relationships with various other functions of project, site execution team, project planning team to ensure quality and timely deliverables related to project engineering, procurement and commissioning as per budget, drawings and schedule

- Partner with Business Development Lead, Strategy & Incubation Head to identify project sites

- Collaborate with existing Plant Heads to evaluate and vet capex proposals of operational plants

- Engage with external consultants / vendors / suppliers to ensure trouble free performance of project engineering

- Liaison with local regulatory authorities for land procurement, site development, etc.

- Drive process excellence and ensure strict compliance with all safety and legal requirements

- Institute norms, process adherence in the function

- Ensure compliance to best engineering practices and statutory requirements relating to safety

- Adoption of sustainability measures in project concept
