Key Responsibilities

The Editorial Graphics Design Head will address the editorial, technical, and future needs as outlined above. However, they will not have day-to-day operational responsibilities. The candidate must have an editorial background to understand storytelling needs effectively.

He will ensure world-class graphics operations by:

1. Creating a Best-in-Class Graphics Stylesheet for city, state, and global teams.
• Develop two types of formats:
  a. Format for Happening Stories - Focused on speed and quantity.
  b. Format for Planned Stories - Emphasizing quality, which can be time-intensive.
• Implement the stylesheet through a robust review mechanism.
• Handle special projects like Kumbh, Budget, Elections, IPL, etc.
2. Training and Execution Plans:
• Organize training sessions and create implementation plans for the graphics teams across state and global levels.
3. Daily Review System:
• Establish and enforce a daily review mechanism.
• Provide feedback to the team with examples, highlighting:
• What worked well and why.
• What didnt work well, why, and how it can be improved.
4. Work on enhancing the technical aspects of graphics and aligning them with future trends.
