Responsibilities:

1. Edit articles, news reports, analysis, and features related to the automobiles, ensuring accuracy, clarity, grammar, and adherence to the organization's style guidelines.
2. Ensure consistency and maintain the editorial tone, style, and voice of the publication.
3. Stay up-to-date with automobile trends, policies, and events to generate innovative story ideas and angles.
4. Adhere to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
5. Assist in the development of headlines, subheadings, and captions that engage and inform readers.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in journalism, or commerce is most preferable but it doesn't matter if it's a bachelor's degree or a master's degree in any other subject.
2. Proven experience as a Sub Editor or similar role in an online or print publication, preferably focused on automobile News
3. Excellent command of language grammar, spelling.
4. Meticulous attention to detail with exceptional proofreading and editing skills.
5. Proficient in using digital content management systems and other publishing tools.
6. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

1. Familiarity with SEO principles and digital content optimization.
2. Understanding of copyright and intellectual property laws as they pertain to journalism.
