RPA Developer - Blue Prism (5-9 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled RPA Developer with expertise in Blue Prism to design, develop, and implement robotic process automation solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to automate workflows, optimize business processes, and improve efficiency.

Job Description :

- Evaluate new process opportunities and identify other new processes, assessing viability as soon as possible.

- Optimize and document the business processes in detail where required to determine and convey the technological infrastructure needs.

- Create process solutions that adhere to Blue Prism design concepts and standards.

- Integrate new Blue Prism processes and objects that are efficient, well-structured, maintainable, and simple to comprehend, leveraging basic workflow concepts. Create and manage solution documentation.

- Support existing processes and implement change requirements as part of a structured change control process.

- Optimize and manage the entire RPA delivery lifecycle and Accreditation Program.

- Evaluate, comprehend, and record business processes in detail as needed. Connect with the vendor Platform team about software issues, make suggestions for improvements, and interact with other RPA community members.

- Work within the constraints of project planning, notify the delivery/project manager of any detected project risks and concerns to the delivery/project manager as needed, and contribute to the change control process.

- Facilitate challenges that arise in the day-to-day operation of Blue Prism processes by providing prompt replies and solutions as needed

- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of automated processes and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

RPA Development & Implementation :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy RPA solutions using Blue Prism.

- Create reusable automation components and frameworks.

- Optimize bots for performance, scalability, and security.

Process Analysis & Optimization :

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand automation opportunities.

- Analyze and document existing business processes for automation feasibility.

- Provide recommendations to improve process efficiency.

Testing & Debugging :

- Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing of automation workflows.

- Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues.

Maintenance & Monitoring :

- Monitor deployed bots for performance and ensure uptime.

- Provide support for production RPA solutions and fix errors as needed.

- Maintain version control and documentation for RPA solutions.

Collaboration & Best Practices :

- Work closely with business analysts, developers, and IT teams.

- Follow best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines for RPA.

- Train and support users in automation adoption.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

- 2+ years of experience in Blue Prism RPA development.

- Strong understanding of RPA lifecycle, workflow design, and best practices.

- Hands-on experience with Blue Prism Objects, Processes, and Control Room.

- Familiarity with SQL, .NET, Java, Python, or VBA (a plus).

- Experience with AI/ML, OCR, or chatbots (preferred).

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).

Preferred Certifications :

- Blue Prism Developer Certification (AD01)

- Blue Prism Professional Developer (APD01) (a plus)

- Blue Prism Solution Designer (ASD01) (a plus)
