Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow ITOM Developer to design, develop, and implement IT Operations Management (ITOM) solutions within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in ServiceNow Discovery, Event Management, CMDB, Orchestration, Cloud Management, and Automation to improve IT service visibility and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

ServiceNow ITOM Development & Customization :

- Design, configure, and implement ServiceNow ITOM solutions, including Discovery, CMDB, Event Management, Service Mapping, and Orchestration.

- Develop custom workflows, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts to automate IT processes.

- Configure and maintain MID Servers, probes, sensors, and integrations for Discovery.

- Implement Service Mapping to create end-to-end visibility of IT infrastructure and services.

ITOM Integrations & Automation :

- Integrate ServiceNow ITOM with third-party monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, SolarWinds, Nagios, Dynatrace, Datadog, AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor).

- Develop automation workflows using ServiceNow Orchestration and REST/SOAP APIs.

- Work with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform) to automate ServiceNow deployments.

CMDB & Asset Management :

- Configure and manage Configuration Management Database (CMDB) for data integrity, normalization, and reconciliation.

- Implement CI relationships, dependency mapping, and governance policies.

- Ensure CMDB data quality by designing data ingestion, normalization, and reconciliation processes.

Monitoring & Event Management :

- Implement ServiceNow Event Management to correlate alerts and reduce noise using event rules and anomaly detection.

- Develop automated remediation workflows for incident resolution.

- Optimize Operational Intelligence (AIOps) for predictive monitoring.

Security, Compliance & Best Practices :

- Enforce ServiceNow security best practices, RBAC, and access controls.

- Maintain compliance with ITIL, NIST, SOC2, and ISO27001 standards.

- Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and debugging for ITOM modules.

Collaboration & Agile Development :

- Work closely with ITSM, DevOps, Security, and Cloud teams to enhance IT service visibility.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles and provide technical expertise.

- Document system configurations, workflows, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

- 3+ years of experience as a ServiceNow ITOM Developer.

- Strong expertise in ServiceNow ITOM modules (Discovery, CMDB, Event Management, Service Mapping, Orchestration, Cloud Management).

- Experience with ServiceNow Scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs, REST/SOAP APIs).

- Hands-on experience with MID Servers, probes, sensors, and integrations.

- Knowledge of networking, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and IT infrastructure.

- Familiarity with ITIL best practices, ITSM, and automation frameworks.

Preferred Skills & Nice-to-Have :

- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - ITOM

- Experience with ServiceNow AI/ML features for AIOps

- Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes for cloud automation

- Experience integrating ServiceNow with CMDB Federation tools (e.g., SCCM, BMC, ServiceGraph)
