Job Description
- Creating and delivering android applicationsbased on client specifications.
- Pay attention to the application\u2019s compatibilitywith multiple versions of Android and device types.
- Translate designs and wireframes intohigh-quality code.
- Should be familiar with Material Designguidelines, common mobile UX patterns, and anti-patterns.
- Ability to write clean, modular, maintainablecode which others can work on.
- Always keen to decrease tech debt, participatein code review sessions and suggest best practices
- Design, build and maintain high performance,reusable, and reliable code.
- Have experience with common Android librarieslike Retrofit, OkHttp, Picasso, RxJava, Gson, Arch-components etc.
- Have experience with different programmingparadigms, esp. functional and reactive programming
- Knowledge of git and continuous integration.
- Knowledge of SQL database.
- Should have a good understanding of advancedAndroid concepts like Custom Views, Accessibility Services, backgroundprocessing APIs
- Have an understanding of different architecturalpatterns (esp. MVVM) and how they should be tested.
- Should be good at debugging, unit testingincluding identifying memory leaks, performance bottlenecks, and using toolslike ADB, proguard, etc.
- Project-related documentation of all codingdecisions and maintain documentation of the code itself.
Requirements- Minimum 6+ years of working experience onAndroid SDK, Kotlin, Core Java.
- Bachelor Degree or higher in Computer Science,Engineering or a related subject.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Androidapplications to back-end services.
- Strong knowledge of Android UI designprinciples, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, andperformance tuning.
- Familiarity with the use of additional sensorsin application functionality on mobile devices.
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystemand the libraries available for common tasks.
- Proficient understanding of code versioningtools, such as Git.
- Knowledge of Flutter would be a bonus.
- Strong analytical skills and attention todetail.
- Minimum 6+ years of working experience onAndroid SDK, Kotlin, Core Java.
