Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site technical support to clients, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues on laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows) and applications.
- Perform hardware repairs and replacements on laptops and desktops, including but not limited to hard drives, memory, and motherboards.
- Troubleshoot networking issues, including connectivity problems and basic network configuration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Install and configure printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including diagnoses, solutions, and time spent on each task.
- Ensure timely and effective communication with clients regarding the status of their issues.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Follow established procedures and protocols for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Travel to client locations within the Ambattur Estate area.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of Laptop/Desktop Installation & Repair - a must!
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and software.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license is a plus.
- A+ Certification or equivalent experience is desirable.
