Job Description
Responsibilities
- Portfolio development
- Develop new business areas in services for Fiber Broadband service providers.
- Actively define offer and develop Services Portfolio
- Evaluate and develop technology partnerships with relevant players in the market.
- Solution architecture/ Technical sales
- Provide technical support to Sales activities, prepare business cases and proposals for new projects/ RFQs.
- Interface with other Cyient stakeholders or partners to gather technical support for proposals preparation and RFQ responses.
- Proven track record with more than 15 years experience in providing various services for Fiber Broadband providers (Preferred UK/EMEA broadband providers experience)
- Strong experience in solution developement / managing technical operations services to Fiber broadband service provider. Examples of services scope:
- Service desk/ L1 support
- Incident and problem management
- Network Provisioning, Configuration and capacity management,
- Change request management
- Customer onboarding
- New product introduction/ launch
- Extremely relevant to have experience in delivery challenges when operating regional, Fiber broadband service providers who build and operate their own broadband infrastructure (Altnets)
- Strong Experience in consolidation (in networks, OSS and process delivery areas) of two or more Altnets into a larger Altnet
- Strong experience in digital transformation of Altnets operating model
- Deep understanding of OSS architecture and how it applies to Service Assurance and Service fulfilment areas for Altnets, following industry standards such as Open Digital Architecture (former Frameworkx) of TM-Forum
- Good understand of telecom network architectures for broadband Services covering:
- Network access (GPON, XGS-PON).
- Transmission ( OTN, DWDM, IP/ MPLS, iBGP)
- Core (TCP/ IP Switching, Routing, DNS, DHCP)
- Transit and Peering (EBGP and Carrier Grade NAT)
General requirements
- Strong experience in technical sales of complex solutions,
- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
- Excellent knowledge of MS office
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English.
- A Bachelors degree in telco or IT engineering field
